Expanded Metal Mesh is made from sheets of solid metals that all are slit and stretched with each stroke of the upper die, forming a raised diamond pattern.

This pattern is called regular or standard. This pattern varies by the gauge and type of material and the size of the diamond.The sheets can also be flattened by rollers for an optional style by pasing them through a cold, roll reducing mill.
Expanded metal also can be manufactured in heavy gauges for applications such as walkways, ramps, and catwalks of all types. Frequently, the heavier gratings and catwalks are used in industrial plants for flooring.
Due to the flexibility in materials and the sizes that it can be manufactured, expanded metal has a large application in filtration purposes. Thicker sizes with apertures above ½" also has certain general purpose applications like partitioning and covering for security.
Manufactured in Mild Steel (M.S.), Galvanised Iron (G.I.), Stainless Steel 304, 316 (S.S.) Aluminum ( AL.) from 0.5 mm opening to 50 mm opening in all possible thickness.



 

EXPANDED DIAMOND PATTERN MESH

Cold deformation of raw material, by expanding,  forms a surface with regular openings, usually diamond-shaped, square, round or hexagonal.  
Expanded and micro-expanded are alternative to wire nets or wire meshes, considering that mesh opening range goes from 30 mm to 0,15 mm. 
The expanded metal can be either unflattened or flattened in order to obtain a flat and smooth surface. Available in standard rolls and panels, we can also produce in according to customer specifications.

Sheets and rolls Sizes: The standard sizes are 1000x2000mm, 1250x2500mm, 1500x3000mm or rolls h = 1000mm - 1250mm - 1500mm.  On request we can perform any other format. 
Expanded wirel mesh can be made from a wide range of materials, chiefly expanded steel mesh, aluminum expanded wire mesh, expanded stainless steel, expanded nickel and other metal, as steel reinforcement materials in petroleum, chemical industry and building decorations. Thickness available from 0.5mm to 8mm.
